@Raina_NewSANECoach I'm scheduled to pick it up the first week in May. Hopefully it fits well, and we can get the alignment adjusted by the end of my appointment

@KimberlyWeaver no I did not die them myself.... Maybe a new project to try?! They were a gift from my mother inlaw (but I think she spent an inordinate amount of money on them at a hippie shop in San Francisco....). What colors are you getting for your leg!? My friends/family make fun of me because I try to wear ALL bright colors as much as possible (to the point that I apologize to my students when I happen to be wearing black or grey)

Today I am grateful for:
- The SANE Ignite Family for being so awesome and supportive
- My tummy, for not being sore this morning after last night's inSANEity (more about *that* later)
- My nourishing breakfast, full of veggies and nutrient dense proteins, that will set me up for a Super SANE day!

@Wednesday_SANECoach my leg is going to be all kinds of different bright colors!
Well the top 1/2 will be. The bottom 1/2 will be most gray with a little blue. The knee on this leg is waterproof, and since I want to be able to walk into the water I most likely won't get a cover for the bottom.

@KimberlyWeaver Please upload a picture when it arrives! My office building is shared with the Auckland Artificial Limb Centre, so we often see people coming in to get their prosthesis refitted/updated, though none of them have ever had anything as cool as that!
Today I am grateful for:- All of the veterans who served in World War I and gave their lives for Australia and New Zealand - today is Anzac Day and we honour their sacrifice. Lest we forget.
- The wonderful people in this support group, everyone is so loving and supportive without judgement or shame.
- The beautiful high protein vegetarian rhubarb and raspberry cobbler I made last night - a recipe I'm working on. Next step is to make it vegan for our beautiful SANE Vegan members.

When you get your recipe done, let me know. I made a rhubarb/strawberry crisp for a potluck but it's not very SANE. Actually, except for the fruit and butter, it's totally insane. -

- The strength that is returning to my left leg
- The stillness, quiet, and peace of the early morning
- The latest episode of This American Life that kept me company while I did my achilles rehab exercises this morning.

@SandyGrady I'll let you know once it's done - I know there are a number of Paleo cobbler recipes out there that can be easily SANEified, though I'm working on one that is mainly protein based, as I know vegan sources of protein are few and far between.

Today I am grateful for:
- The fact that my leg was able to handle just over 20 minutes of RPM choreography this morning! The progress makes me so happy and thankful.
- The period of time in the gym where three songs I love played back to back. I Will Be Here by Tiesto, Granite by Pendulum and Firestarter by The Prodigy. (Then, rather randomly, it played Gangnam Style, which was such an odd juxtaposition that it made me laugh)
- @Lori_SANECoach and the 'A-ha' moments thread that she has created, it was lovely to be able to share where the penny dropped for me in my journey to SANEity
So looking forward to seeing people share their moments too!

@RainaSingh That is awesome! Just out of curiosity, how long are the classes you teach? Are you still on schedule for returning?

@LynnetteStork The classes are 45 minutes, so I've got a bit of work to do to get back there, but I certainly feel closer than I did last week with wobbly legs at 5 minutes
My official return is scheduled for mid-June, so I think I will be able to make it by then.

Today I am grateful for:
- The bulk lot of salmon that I picked up yesterday. (5kg / ~11 lbs) Incredibly well priced - I am looking forward to making some delicious salmon meals!
- The two girls in the gym who put their kettlebells down and started dancing when Shake Senora feat. Pitbull, T-Pain and Sean Paul came on, put a smile on my face - there is never an inappropriate time to dance
- Being able to break 25 minutes of RPM choreography on the bike this morning
